Sustainable Practices and Responsible Consumption
Sustainability has become a significant trend. Our society look positive toward eco-friendly and green products and services. Helen hotel is shifting toward sustainable practices and responsible consumption
-
We offer guests the option of using towels for multiple days. By default, towels are changed daily, but you can leave them on the hanger if you decide to reuse them instead of handing them in for daily washing.
-
Bed linen is changed every 3 days by default, but at the guests' request, the frequency of linen change can be changed, either up or down.
-
Bath amenities/toiletries in small plastic bottles have been replaced with multi-use dispensers in all room types.
-
Personal toiletries (shampoo, gel, soap) are provided in refillable dispenser systems, while lotion and conditioner are offered in small bottles and tubes (offered upon request in Superior, Modern, Classic and Standard rooms).
-
Daily cleaning is carried out during the guests’ stay; one can use "Do not disturb" sign if you don’t want to be bothered by housekeeping.
-
We use professional certified cleaning products and modern technologies in order to decrease the amount of used chemicals while maintaining the proper level of cleanliness.
-
We are minimizing the usage of paper: the usual paper menus are duplicated and / or replaced with QR codes. By pointing the camera at the code, the guest can find out about all the services provided.
-
Focus on energy saving: you can turn on the light and use all electrical appliances in the room only after the key card is inserted into the card switch. Large windows in the rooms not only add natural light, but also save electricity. Multi-point lighting and dimmable lamps provide even more control of your environment, whether you want shadows or just bright light for reading.
-
Following the concept of healthy eating, the restaurant offers menu for vegetarians and vegans as well as gluten-free and lactose-free dishes
-
Doing our best to establish a robust paper waste disposal process, partnering with a professional recycling service
We inform our guests about the ways they can consume resources in a more responsible and eco-friendly manner. Helen hotel encourages greener behaviour.
Adult guests of St. Petersburg hotels are required to pay a resort fee of 100 rubles per person per day starting from April 1, 2024. The fee is not included in the accommodation price; it is added on top of it.
No other four-star St.Petersburg hotel can rival Helen hotel’s superlative location at the intersection of Gorokhovaya and Bolshaya Morskaya streets in the stone’s throw to the major city attractions.
Hotel services
Exceptional service is at the heart of everything we do; and Helen Hotel’s dedicated team is geared to transform a simple stay to a memorable experience – take advantage of a range of additional services, included in the price of accommodation and offered for an additional fee upon request.
