CONCEPT: Quite rooms for guests in need of accessible features without compromising on comfort

At Helen Hotel we want to ensure that all of our guests can enjoy the best possible welcome and the most relaxing stay no matter their degree of mobility. To that end, we have adapted several Classic rooms for maximum accessibility. These rooms overlooking a quiet courtyard are more spacious (from 23 sq. m.) and come equipped with a king size bed (which can NOT be divided into twin beds). From the wider door frame for easier access to the handrails and wheel-in shower, we aim to ensure as comfortable stay as possible. Accessible Classic rooms are located on the lowest floor of the hotel - step-free access and wider entranceways were specifically adapted with accessibility in mind. For your ultimate convenience pillow menu is offered. Upon request, a wheelchair can be provided in the room at no additional cost to move around the hotel.

ENTRANCE: These rooms are located in the annex building. The step free access is from Gorokhovaya Street, 13 through the courtyard.

PLEASE, NOTE: For convenience and safety reasons disabled guests must be accompanied by an able-bodied guest. An accompanying person may stay in the same or another hotel room. Food and drinks are delivered to the accessible rooms at no extra charge upon request. Temporary ramp is provided from the corridor to the main hall of the restaurant. INTERIOR DÉCOR AND FACILITIES: Cleverly designed in calming grey hues, our rooms offer contemporary comfort due to elegant furnishings, including a working area with a classic writing desk as well as bedside and coffee tables. Each guest room comes equipped with an iron with ironing board and benefits from a generously sized wardrobes to cater to your needs. Full length mirrors are mounted on a wall or a wardrobe door. Feel like a royalty sleeping on our great beds adorned with the softest satin linens covering orthopedic mattress that offers a firmer sleep surface, providing targeted support for your back and joints. Black out curtains and our lightweight blankets and hypoallergenic pillows (artificial swan down) will ensure a perfect deep sleep. Adjustable multi-level lighting (chandeliers, spotlights and lamps) solving several functional and decorative tasks at once offer a stunning complexity that elevates the aesthetic of a room. Geometric carpet flooring adds dynamic modern spirit to the surrounding relaxing atmosphere, while backlit wall panels with peonies make the place more romantic. We used best soundproofing material for walls and placed double-glazed windows with the aim of providing acoustic comfort.

BATHROOM: Each room has a private spacious adapted bathroom with a walk-in shower with glass doors, bath amenities (shampoo, gel, soap, dental/cosmetic kits), slippers, fluffy towels and bathrobes. Our accessible bathroom comes equipped with lowered sink with non-contact automatic tap sensor and a tilted mirror at a low height, convenient for use from a wheelchair. Roll-in shower features a built-in bench, rain shower and a hand-held shower with hose. There are handrails inside and outside the shower as well as near the toilet. There are emergency pull cords, should you require urgent assistance. There is a hygienic shower. The doors leading to the bathroom are sliding. Toiletries (conditioner, lotion, shaving kit) are offered free of charge upon request. Given our eco-policy, we stand for the reduction of the use of toiletries in disposable plastic packaging.

EXTRA BEDS AND CHILDREN POLICY: Extra beds or/and babycots are not provided in Classic rooms. Children under 12 years old are allowed to share the room with their parents using the existing bedding. Thus, the maximum capacity of a Classic room: 2 pax (main bed) + 1 child (without an extra bed). Learn more about children policy and extras
