Resort Fee

Please note that from October 1, 2023, a Resort Fee was introduced in St. Petersburg. The resort fee is regulated by regional law No. 419-81 «On the Introduction of a Resort Fee in the Territory of St. Petersburg» dated June 29, 2023.
As of April 1, 2024, a fee in the amount of 100 rubles per day is charged for all individuals over 18 years who plan to stay in any hotel for more than 24 hours. Children under 18 years of age are not subject to the resort fee.
The fee will not be charged for the first day of arrival thus The amount to be paid is calculated using the formula: Resort fee amount = number of days of stay (excluding check-in day) x 100 rubles.
The fee is not included in the accommodation price; it is added on top of it.
The resort fee is paid upon check-in at the hotel in cash or by bank card.
There are traveller categories exempt from paying the charge:

persons specified in Part 1 of Article 7 of Federal Law No. 214-FZ;
-
persons specified in subparagraph 9 of paragraph 1 of Article 3 of the Federal Law "On Veterans";
-
members of large families with children under the age of 18.
Payers should give written consent to the processing of personal data.
In case a guest should, but refuses to pay the resort fee, administrative liability for non-payment in the form of a fine applies.
To avoid paying the resort fee it is necessary to present the original and a duly certified copy of the document confirming the benefit.
